China eyes better education quality

Minister of Education, Yuan Guiren said, the quality of education is on the par with or even exceed with many medium high income countries, still reform to the countries’ system are never easy. We here continue to the complaints of the heavy burden of college entrance exams, likeness of technical and vocational education, rising school violence and widening education gap between city and countryside. What being done and what could be done more to address these challenges. With the record of high number of students about to graduate from college this year, how can they be helped to find proper jobs? Today I am joining the Beijing studio with Mr. Wang Huiyao, President of Center for China & Globalization (CCG) and Prof. Li Chenjian from Peking University.
