Yang Baocheng

Vice President of Huanghe Science & Technology University

Professor Yang Baocheng, PhD of Chemistry, University of Connecticut U.S.A, Master of Business Administration (MBA), University of Virginia U.S.A, currently works as vice president of Huanghe Science & Technology University(HHSTU). In addition to actively engaging in social, academic and political activities, Dr. Yang serves as the academic and technical leader of Henan Provincial Department of Education, the twelfth and thirteenth Standing Committee member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC), Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, director of 2005 Committee, vice president of China Education Information Association, vice president of Henan Association of Young Scientists and Technologists, standing director of Henan Association of Academicians, as well as member of Chartered Financial Analyst, Hong Kong Branch.

Due to his outstanding academic and social achievements, Dr. Yang has been awarded many titles, such as Innovation Talent of Science and Technology of Education Department of Henan, Henan May 4th Medal pacesetter, Outstanding Principal of Private Education in Henan province, Outstanding Figure of Private Education in Zhengzhou City, Leading Talent of Science and Technology in Zhengzhou City, and Zhengzhou Top-Notch Professional Talent etc. Besides these titles, Dr. Yang is also selected to participate the Program for New Century Excellent Talents sponsored by Ministry of Education.

Dr. Yang is the director of Henan Nanocomposites Application Key Laboratory--- the first provincial key laboratory in private universities in Henan, moderator of University Engineering Technology Research Center of Henan Province, and leader of Henan Science and Technology Innovation Team. In the field of academic research, Dr. Yang has published more than fifty high-level research papers in the well known overseas periodicals such as Acsnano, Adv. Funct. Mater.,J.Am. Chem. Soc.,and Small, all of which have been included in SCI. He has also accomplished over ten National Natural Science Foundation projects, and other provincial and ministerial research projects. In the meanwhile, Dr. Yang obtained two invention patents as well. The more than twenty awards Dr. Yang has received at the principal level or higher include the Science and Technology Progress Award of Henan province.
