Ge Jun

Vice-President of Apple

Ge Jun has recently joined Apple Inc. as its Vice President. In this position, he is responsible for leading Apple's government, policy and public affairs in Greater China and developing Apple's China strategy with the leadership team.

Prior to joining Apple, Jun worked for Intel for about 19 years. He served as Vice President of Intel and Managing Director of Intel China. He was responsible for Intel China's corporate business development, government affairs, public affairs, legal and public policy, corporate social responsibility and educational programs. He advised and acted as part of the decision making team for Intel's overall business development and expansion in China and Asia Pacific region.  Jun played an instrumental role in landing Intel's multi-billion dollar investment projects in Pudong, Chengdu, Dalian and Hochimin City. He also helped structure Intel's sales and marketing and research and development presence in China. Before Intel, Jun Ge worked as a private practice attorney and corporate counsel in China, mainly focusing on foreign direct investment, corporate financing and international trade.

Ge Jun received his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and LL.B. from the East China University of Political Science and Law. He is a frequent speaker on rule of law, innovation, merger and acquisition, intellectual property, trade, education transformation and corporate social responsibility related matters. Jun also plays leading roles in a number of trade and policy organizations in China.
